PRINCETON, N.J

The Delaware sales organization of Heartland Payment Systems(NYSE: HPY), a leading provider of credit/debit/prepaid card processing, payroll, check management and payments services, has been named "Allied Member of the Year" by the Delaware Restaurant Association (DRA). Heartland is the DRA's endorsed provider of card processing services.

Team Delaware - comprised of Division Manager Harvey Beal, Territory Manager Andrea Derrick and Relationship Managers Kristin Novak-Csapo and Zach King - received this honor in recognition of its efforts on behalf of the DRA. Heartland's team has helped increase awareness of the organization and has participated in conducting a survey of local restaurateurs to help the DRA identify their needs and challenges. This has enabled the DRA to develop new strategies to assist their members.

"Heartland's business is built on a platform of building long-term relationships and providing the best service and solutions to our clients and the communities they serve," said Dennis Carpenter, director of association alliances at Heartland. "We are extremely proud of our Delaware sales and service professionals for their hard work and dedication to the entire Delaware restaurant community."

"We greatly appreciate Heartland's support," said Carrie Leishman, president and chief executive officer of the DRA. "Heartland's involvement in our organization has been invaluable in helping us grow our membership and expand our mission, improving our ability to meet the needs of our members."
