Heartland has created a world class merchant reporting and work flow system for enrollment processes and customer service, and a very sophisticated set of portfolio management tools for the benefit of the sales force. The systems give sales personnel the tools to manage their client base while also giving the company the tools necessary to measure its performance against those at the very top of the industry. In addition to its merchant and sales tools, Heartland has developed its own front-end authorization system to provide customers with high-speed processing, more customization and the ability to take advantage of new hardware platforms as they become available. Equally advanced is Heartland's Passport back-end system that delivers unique reporting features for customer statements.
HPS Exchange
Heartland Payment Systems Exchange is the first payments authorization and capture center built on the modern technology of the 21st century. It is the first advance in this arena since the mid-1980s. HPS Exchange delivers real-time access to transaction data and provides a platform that takes advantage of new applications - electronic receipt capture and check imaging as well as real-time downloads.
Passport
We created Passport to provide our customers with unique reporting features that are reflected on their statements. This includes not only the monthly transaction and fee information, but important messages regarding their account, a graphical presentation of trends and comparisons of their card processing history, processing summary and deposit details - all in an easy to read and understand format. Passport allows us tremendous flexibility in presenting our customers with targeted information based on their type of business. And, Passport delivers this enhanced flexibility at a lower cost than our competitors.
Portfolio Manager
This intranet-based tool allows Heartland's Relationship Managers to access detailed merchant data and robust analytic tools that help them provide their clients with the most appropriate products while optimizing the income they generate from their accounts. It also provides a valuable and time-saving method of enhancing customer service and support to resolve problems and gather technical information.
Merchant Center
Heartland customers have the ability to log on to the Heartland Merchant Center from any computer with an Internet connection. The Merchant Center gives them immediate, 24-hour a day access to all of their transaction data to improve their efficiency, manage their cash flow, and resolve any problems. The Merchant Center helps to decrease customer service calls by allowing the merchant to gather their account information independently of contacting Heartland directly.
